A personal manifesto

i am hoping that this ‘remodelled’ blog will truly reflect my 'awakening' and re-emergence into a new spring. and i will start, as i mean to go on with a brave manifesto which, dear readers, i am hoping you will hold me to!!
  • i am proactive in establishing my life on the 7 Habits and God-given principles of fairness, integrity and honesty, human dignity, quality and excellence in service, potential and growth, patience, nurturance, encouragement and truth.

  • i live and love wholeheartedly, inviting gratitude, joy and grace into my life.

  • i embrace compassion, courage and connection with God, others, myself and reality.

  • with gentleness and forgiveness, i actively guard against masking my vulnerability with shame, blame, fear and disconnection.

  • i believe in the power and potential of each individual, and the awesome beauty of synergy created through interconnection.

  • i celebrate my strengths by nurturing my artistic creativity, spirituality and passion for others.

A clean fresh page!!

how wonderful the bare, winter trees look right now, punctuating the landscape with their dark moodiness . it would be easy to forget that their brooding presence is simply an indication that they are resting and in 'self-preservation' mode: regaining their strength in preparation for their glorious re-emergence in the spring.

such is winter time for us, maybe. an opportunity to take stock, to consider the challenges of the future.

i have been contributing to this blog for over 18 months now. its accompanied me through many changes and heartache too, which i have sought to explore in the form of an allegorical story. as i am intending to publish this story at some point, its going to be saved elsewhere rather than on here although the artwork produced will stay. but what an opportunity this creates: a whole, new fresh start, a blank page... soooo exciting!
